Based in Herefordshire, as a professional Tree Surgeon, I work across the county and into the neighbouring counties of Powys, Shropshire and Worcestershire; covering places such as Leominster, Ludlow, Hereford, Kington, Presteigne, Tenbury and Weobley.
All aspects of tree work can be undertaken, including residential, commercial and estate work. I can also apply for planning permission for trees which fall within conservation areas or are covered by Tree Preservation Orders on the customer's behalf. I am fully qualified and pride myself on providing a friendly, reliable and professional service.
Trees may need to be felled for a variety of reasons; safety, ill health, to reduce the spread of disease/pests, if they have outgrown their position or if they need to be cleared for building/development. On sites where space is limited e.g. gardens, the tree will need to be carefully dismantled in sections. We provide experienced and fully qualified tree climbers to carry out such works, in some cases we may also use Mobile Elevated Work Platforms.
Pruning and removing branches in the crown to reduce potential impact of extreme weather conditions on the tree (i.e. strong winds). Crown thinning also increases the amount of light passing through.
A technique used to prevent medium/large trees from outgrowing their surroundings by reducing the overall area taken up by the crown. Crown reduction also help to reduce the impact of extreme weather conditions e.g. wind, snow.
Removing the lower branches of the tree to raise the height of the crown. Benefits of crown lifting include increasing the amount of light reaching the ground, encouraging younger trees to develop a stronger structure, improving sight lines and access around the tree.
